He had just come from his home place, a land full of green vegetation thus he was impressed to see Mongolia, a land covered with snow. After a glance of the nature surrounding the capital city of Mongolia he could not resist expressing his feelings, “At last I have touched the mission land”.
Arriving home, the whole community in the spirit of communion shared with him a cake as a sign his belonging to the community. Nothing could prevent Joseph from not feeling at home.
Another long awaited moment was the day set up by the community to welcome him officially. This day was culminated by Eucharistic celebration presided over by Fr Ernesto, the superior of the IMC community in Mongolia. The Celebration of the Eucharist was colorful animated by the strong choir of the community. It was a moment of thanksgiving to God for the gift of our brother who had joined the Consolata community of Mongolia.
After a word of welcome to Joseph, in the beginning of the Mass, the main celebrant noted that the Missionary activities in Mongolia are carried out in a spirit of communion between two congregations, IMC and MC in three aspects: The building up of a Christian community, Dialogue with non Christian religions and human promotion.
The celebration of the Mass was followed by a solemn supper with a cutting of a cake as a sign of togetherness and sharing in the life of missionary evangelization.
Two days after, Joseph had to start the study of Mongolian language.
Few days after, the Consolata community was also blessed to have the visit of the Msgr. Wenceslaus. During the celebration of the Mass the Bishop took the opportunity to welcome Joseph in the prefecture and Mongolia in General.
