South Africa and Africa still need generous "Good Samaritans" from other Continents, to heal many wounds and to give hope in places where people are being killed in different ways, the majority young and even unborn. But it also needs Good Samaritans from the same Continent, able to promote life in all its dimensions.
We need Samaritans in the governments, in the hospitals, in businesses, in schools, in church, etc. We need to rediscover the missionary dimension of our communities and the Church as such. Mission is not just to receive, but also to give and the challenge is always to give generously.
Political/social/ethnic leaders: We need to educate African Samaritans to be able to take African "oil" and African "wine" (oil and wine stand for all means to be used to promote Justice and Peace) to issue laws promoting life respectful of each person, either young or adult, without gender discrimination, and taking steps helping refugees, street people, children, poor and helpless people whatever their ethnic and race origin.
Samaritans able to give love to those challenged physically, psychologically, mentally, emotionally etc; all treatments (either traditional or western) need passionate Christian love to produce their healing effects.
We need Samaritan Economists, like Muhammad Yunus, who challenged the world business people, able to generate an income for the financial poor people, whom soon will discover to be rich in strength, abilities and skills.
