On Saturday June 16, it was extremely exhilarating to join the Consolata Parish parishioners for Our Lady of Consolata’s celebration. We began with the Holy Mass at 7:00 pm presided over by Fr. Jean-Marie BILWALA and concelebrated by Fr. Mario Neva, the parish priest. The Church was packed like an egg by the faithful from all over Montreal city.
After the Mass, all in the same vein, we began the procession in honor of Our Lady of Consolata in the Montreal district where is located Consolata parish. During our procession, we were reciting the rosary, meditating, singing and praising God through Our Lady of Consolata. It was amazing and a good testimony to other people.
Back from our procession, Fr. Jean-Marie blessed the faithful with the Blessed Sacrament he carried during the procession making the sign of the cross on the faithful.
In conclusion, Fr. Mario Neva expressed his appreciation to everyone for the service done and to three policemen who contributed to our security during the procession. We are really fortunate to have Fr. Mario Neva in charge of the Consolata parish in Montreal.
