At the moment in Ethiopia, we are in rainy season. Most of the people are so astounded to see the way this
period of Rain is characterised. Almost every day we are visited by heavy rain. It is raining "Cats and Dogs".
Saturday, 5th August at 3.00 in the morning, a strange rain
visited the city called DIRE DAWA and created a terrible Flood. The City is in the East part of the Country; 526 km from
Addis Ababa, the Capital City. That flood caused a lot of damages. According to the News from the National Channel, more
than 200 people passed away. In addition to that, we can again underline the damages to roads, houses,
industries,...
So far, some assistances are going on. Some local and international
organizations are financially contributing to rescue those families.
Dear Confreres, Friends of Consolata Web, we are
invited to remember them in our prayers.
May God bless Ethiopia!
